Directly across the street (Giles Ave.) is a construction site for a future Walgreens Pharmacy in Dublin, Virginia. The demolition occured in the fall & winter of 2007. The idea is to capture the building process over the spring/summer of 2008. The first picture i'm showing here is from February 29, 2008.

I'll add a new picture here, approximately 2X each week, until completion. The most recent picture is at the top. If you haven't been here before, start at the bottom of the page and work your way up to the top. Use the 'End" key for the fastest method. Also, i'll use the date in the picture, so when you hold your mouse over the picture, it'll show the date of the picture on the screen.

It has been said that there are still Permits to attain... They dropped off a bigger trackhoe today with a bigger bucket... Also, this photo was taken from the parking lot of the bank. 03-21-08

They dropped off these concrete tubes tuesday... another cloudy day. 03-18-08

This week, nothing has been done. So, i drove over to 'Old Rte 11' and took 2 pics from another angle... It was raining pretty good out, so they're not the clearest pictures. 03-15-08

A filtered drainage reservoir is being installed to catch run-off from parked cars' leaking fluids... even before they can complete the water line that they've been working on... It's an EPA thing.
