Construction of Walgreens Pharmacy on Rte 11 in Dublin, VA!

At the Walgreens construction site, we're watching for a retaining wall to be constructed which will level the ground at the height of Rte. 11. That will be a major sign of progression here.

Directly across the street (Giles Ave. at Route 11) is a construction site for a future Walgreens Pharmacy in Dublin, Virginia. The demolition occured in the fall & winter of 2007. The idea is to capture the building process over the spring/summer/fall of 2008. The first picture i'm showing here is from April 1, 2008.March 2008 is archived: Click Here.

I'll add a new picture here, approximately 2X each week, until completion. The most recent picture is at the top. Incessant Rock Pounding again today. It did get sunny outside in the afternoon. 04-23-08 am

It was a busy week for them. You should have heard the incessant rock pounding! Anyway, here's a few shots of actual progress to finish this week... 04-12-08

The trackhoe was working in the corner this morning. They'll build a retaining wall on three sides to level the property with Rte 11. 04-01-08
